Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit Conditions

Engine cranking, then test started and the PCM detected that the CKP sensor signal did not change for 2-4 seconds Inspect crankshaft sensor wiring and connectors for damaged or backed-out terminals for the cause of a fault

CKP Sensor Performance Conditions

Engine speed under 300 rpm, then the PCM detected that 8 consecutive CKP sensor signals were missing for 8 Cyl No 1 events, or with the engine running, then the PCM detected 8 consecutive CKP signals were missing for 32 Cyl No 1 events
